By booking or using any service provided by The Glow Room, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Our Services

The Glow Room provides red and near-infrared light therapy sessions for general wellness, recovery and cosmetic purposes.

Our treatments are non-invasive and do not constitute medical treatment, diagnosis or medical advice. Red light therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.

Individual experiences and results may vary.

2. Bookings

All sessions must be booked in advance.

A booking is only confirmed once it has been successfully made through our booking system and, where applicable, payment has been received.

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment so that you have sufficient time to prepare for your session.

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that it does not affect the next client's appointment. The full session fee will still apply.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or move your appointment.

Bookings cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments/no-shows, may be charged in full.

Where a package or membership session is missed without the required notice, the session may be deducted from the applicable package or membership.

The Glow Room reserves the right to waive this policy at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.

4. Packages & Memberships

Packages and memberships are subject to the specific terms applicable to the package or membership purchased.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Sessions must be used within the stated validity period.

• Unused sessions expire once the package validity period has ended.

• Membership sessions do not automatically carry over to the following month unless specifically stated.

• Memberships are month to month and require a 1 month cancelation period. Memberships will be billed monthly until the cancelation period has come to an end.

• Memberships and packages cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Promotional offers may have additional terms, including limited validity periods and availability.

5. Promotional Offers

Promotional prices and introductory offers are available only for the period stated in the relevant promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

The Glow Room reserves the right to change or withdraw a promotion after the stated promotional period.

6. Contra-indications & Client Responsibility

Your safety is important to us.

Before your first session, you are responsible for informing The Glow Room of any relevant medical conditions, medications, treatments or circumstances that may affect your suitability for red light therapy.

You should not use red light therapy without appropriate medical advice if you have a condition, take medication or have another circumstance for which exposure to red or near-infrared light may be unsuitable.

In particular, please inform us if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have a known light sensitivity or photosensitivity disorder

• Take medication that causes photosensitivity

• Have an active or suspected cancerous condition

• Have recently undergone surgery or a medical procedure

• Have an acute injury or medical condition requiring treatment

• Have an implanted medical device or other medical concern that may be relevant

• Have been advised by a medical professional to avoid light-based treatments

This list is not exhaustive.

If you are unsure whether red light therapy is appropriate for you, please consult your doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before booking.

The Glow Room reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session where we believe it may not be appropriate or safe for the client.

7. During Your Session

Clients must follow the instructions provided by The Glow Room before and during their session.

Protective eyewear should be used where instructed.

You should immediately inform a staff member if you experience discomfort, dizziness, unusual heat, irritation or any other unexpected reaction during your session.

8. Results

Red light therapy does not produce identical results for everyone.

Results may depend on factors including the individual's body, skin, lifestyle, treatment goals, treatment frequency, wavelength and duration of exposure.

While some clients may notice changes after a small number of sessions, consistent use over time may be required to experience the desired benefits.

The Glow Room does not guarantee any particular result.

9. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting The Glow Room.

The Glow Room cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought onto the premises, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Health & Safety

Clients must follow all reasonable health and safety instructions while on the premises.

The Glow Room reserves the right to refuse treatment where a client's behaviour, condition or circumstances may present a risk to themselves, staff or other clients.

11. Payments

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change.

Payment is required in accordance with the booking, package or membership selected.

Once a session, package or membership has been purchased, refunds will only be provided where required by applicable law or where The Glow Room agrees otherwise in its discretion.

12. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are subject to the validity period and conditions stated on the voucher.

Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by applicable law.

Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced.

13. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information displayed on our website is accurate and up to date. However, prices, availability, services, packages and promotional offers may change without notice.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be regarded as medical advice.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, The Glow Room will not be liable for loss or damage arising from a client's failure to disclose relevant medical information, failure to follow instructions, misuse of the equipment or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable South African law.

15. Privacy

Any personal information collected through our website, booking system or during your visit will be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy obligations and our Privacy Policy.

We may collect information necessary to process bookings, communicate with you and provide our services.

We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes where applicable consent is required and has not been obtained.

16. Photography & Marketing

We will not use identifiable photographs, videos, testimonials or other content featuring a client for marketing purposes without the client's appropriate consent.

17. Changes to These Terms

The Glow Room may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this page and will apply from the date indicated above.
