Frequently Asked Questions
How does Red Light Therapy work?
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that penetrate the skin and are absorbed by cells. This can help support cellular energy production, circulation and the body’s natural recovery processes. It’s non-invasive, painless and requires no downtime.
What should I wear?
For the best exposure to the light, we recommend wearing minimal, comfortable clothing that leaves as much skin exposed as you feel comfortable with.
You can wear underwear, swimwear, shorts and a bra, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. The light needs to reach the skin, so avoid thick or dark clothing over the areas you want to treat.
There’s no need to apply any special products beforehand simply arrive, get comfortable and enjoy your 20-minute Glow.
How many sessions do I need?
For best results, we recommend 2–3 sessions per week. Some people notice benefits after just a few sessions, but consistency is key. The number of sessions you need depends on your goals - whether you're focusing on recovery, aches and pains, skin appearance or overall wellness.
What can Red Light Therapy help with?
Red light therapy is commonly used to support muscle recovery, aches and pains, circulation, skin health and a more youthful-looking complexion. Many clients also enjoy it as part of their general wellness routine. Results can vary from person to person, and it works best when used consistently.
